Dr Shah was my senior from 2007-2010. During this time he was approachable for help and advice, he provided teaching on a variety of subjects, the majority of this was during his own time. Between 2009-2010 I began studying for higher medical exams (MRCP) and I sat in on consultations with Dr Shah and learnt a great deal from his interaction with patients, he was engaging and attentive, whilst also obtaining patient trust in his level of expertise. Once I decided on a career in cardiology Dr Shah has provided me with career advice and encouragement.

Dr Shah is technically very good and able to relate complicated matters in layman’s terms. I found him to have a great deal of empathy but at the same time he does not shy away from difficult issues as he will give firm and correct advice. Finally Dr Shah is a man of his word and will go the extra mile to help you.

I was pleasantly surprised to have a personal consultation with a doctor who explained complicated medical issues in a very clear and jargon-free way.
